Bidfood, Bury decided to help Vision Aid Overseas by collecting old and un-used glasses. 46 pairs have been collected and donated via Specsavers as they have donation stations throughout the Country. Our Business Support Controller, Helen Baxter saw an opportunity to recycle her old glasses to Vision Aid Overseas via the internet, set up a donation station in the office and asked for people to support this worthy cause. It was amazing how many people do keep their old glasses and the Charity really do benefit from all the glasses they can collect for recycling.
