A survey has been conducted of over 1000 foodservice stakeholders
With the objective of finding out what the sector really thinks about sustainability and what’s most important to you, the survey, lead by Bidfood, was issued to their employees and customers with over 100 customers responding and 900 employees.

The priorities that came out of the survey were:
- Waste reduction
- Responsible production
- Responsible consumption
- Healthy living
Specifically customers have a focus on:
- Health and wellbeing
- Ethical and sustainable sourcing
- Reducing carbon in the supply chain
- Provenance and sustainable menus
Along side this we also ran a plate2planet partner forum to review the focus of plate2planet and how we can continue to drive the sustainability agenda across our sector. The outcome of the partner workshops was very much aligned to the survey and there seens to be clear consistency across all stakeholder groups.
