Our students at the UWL acquire a deep understanding of industry structure, nature and operating characteristics, via academic learning and practical, work-focused study.  Courses include guest lectures from leading industry practitioners and an alumni community which includes some of the leading figures in the international sector.  There are also opportunities to study using state-of-the-art facilities and develop in realistic working environments, e.g. restaurants, hospitals, recording studios and laboratories.
